On this week's Acoustic Highway, we'll celebrate Earth Day 2024 with songs all about the environment. We'll hear from Joni Mitchell, John Prine, Cat Stevens, and John Denver. Denver was given the first World Ecology Award in 1990 after he released his Earth Songs album. He was a huge supporter of Earth Day and his music had long reflected concerns for environmental causes. We'll also have a tribute to local musician and our good friend Michael Monahan, who brought us music reviews and concert happenings on his Stagepass podcast.
